Summary:

The ERM Manager will:

  • Partner with business to continually assess and identify potential risks and ensure that risks are mitigated effectively by implementing appropriate policies, procedures, training, systems and controls.
  • Partner with AMR BCM Core Group and Functions to ensure monitoring and effective implementation of BCM priorities of the business.
  • Ensure compliance with all ERM related policy requirements applicable for the company.

 

Description:

Job Specific Skills / Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in implementation of risk management policy, framework, and initiatives across all business and support functions.
  • Track trends and developments in macro business environment, competitive environment and regulations that may impact company’s business and its operations.
  • Lead identification of potential strategic, operational, financial and compliance risks thorough ongoing risk assessments with relevant business leads.
  • Launching annual risk and BCP survey and presentation to LT for alignment of top priorities.
  • Support development of risk management action plans and track progress of these action plans to address key risks.
  • Collaborate with risk champions to update control self-assessments.
  • Collate, aggregate, and help in presentation of the residual risk profile and KRI dashboard of the organization to the management on a periodic basis.
  • Ensure Risk Appetite and tolerance is updated annually in line with business goals, priorities and emerging risks.
  • Refresh Risk KPIs for risk owners and risk champions.  
  • Support the ERM leader in ensuring insightful, quality reporting regarding risks and mitigating controls / remedial actions is provided to the Audit Committee, and BoD as required, on periodic basis.
  • Facilitate risk management knowledge and best practice sharing across the company by contributing in risk management training initiatives and programs.
  • Enhancing organization wide risk awareness through initiatives including risk awareness communication and campaigns on a regular basis.
  • Support monitoring of the company’s Business Continuity Plans and QHSE risks and practices.
  • Support maintenance of Risk Registers, Business Continuity Plans and deployment of Risk Management tools as required.
  • Work on Annual BCM Agenda including working with BCP plan owners to develop or refresh BIA/BCP as applicable, and ensuring annual BCM testing.
  • Validate preparedness and enable effective response to disruption/crisis by facilitating initiatives like live crisis simulation drill or BCM reflection day.
  • Ensure risk management and tracking of additional risk dimensions relevant to the company such as regulatory compliance, statutory reporting and public disclosures.
  • Develop and maintain engagement with internal stakeholders and ensure that consistent risk management processes are implemented within the Company.
  • Provide refresher training on SOPs, risk procedures and control self-assessment for each risk owner and champion during the risk refresh cycle.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to ERM and BCM.
  • Adept in leveraging AI and technology including prior experience and expertise in using GRC/ERM Tools, performing scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.  

Qualifications, Experience & Skills: 

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Professional degree such as CA or an MBA from a reputed institute is preferred. Additional risk management qualifications would be an advantage.

Experience:

  • Strong working knowledge of risk management and previous experience working with risk function with total 4-8 years of experience.
  • Risk Consulting experience with Big 4 or similar consulting firms, would be an advantage.
  • BCM implementation experience with strong knowledge of BIA, BCP and BCMS Lifecyle as per ISO 22301
  • Experience in Food Industry (Manufacturing/Distribution/Retail) would be an advantage.

  • Strong relationship management and team working skills – ability to productively and collaboratively engage stakeholders to drive risk management agenda.
  • Proven ability to do root-cause analysis and identify solutions. Meticulous attention to detail. 

External Communication:

  • Experience in managing audits as required
