Job Summary

Seeking an IT Lead - Oracle SCM Lead to join our IT Applications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing our Oracle Supply Chain Management landscape, which consists of Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM modules integrated with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).

The primary responsibility of this role will be to support Oracle Fusion Warehouse Management (WMS), Supply Planning, and Transportation Management (OTM). Since these modules operate on master and transactional data originating from Oracle EBS, the candidate must possess strong functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules.

This is a techno-functional role requiring the ability to understand business processes, configure Oracle applications, analyze data, troubleshoot issues using SQL and PL/SQL, and collaborate with technical teams on integrations and enhancements.


Key Responsibilities:

Oracle Fusion SCM

  • Configure, support, and enhance Oracle Fusion Warehouse Management (WMS).
  • Configure, support, and enhance Oracle Fusion Supply Planning.
  • Configure, support, and enhance Oracle Fusion Transportation Management (OTM).
  • Analyze and resolve functional issues within Oracle Fusion SCM modules.
  • Participate in system enhancements, testing, upgrades, and production support.
  • Configure application features according to business requirements.

Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)

  • Analyze Oracle EBS transactions feeding Oracle Fusion applications.
  • Support end-to-end transaction flow between Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion.
  • Strong Supply chain management experience, good understanding of finance modules.

 

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Write and troubleshoot SQL queries for data analysis and issue investigation.
  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts, procedures, and packages where required.
  • Analyze interface tables and integration data.
  • Support troubleshooting of Oracle Fusion and Oracle EBS integrations.
  • Work with technical teams on APIs, integrations, data migration, and custom developments.
  • Assist in root cause analysis for production incidents.
  • Prepare functional specifications for system enhancements.
  • Participate in integration testing, SIT, and UAT.
  • Participate in Automation initiatives involving Oracle Fusion & EBS.

Business Support

  • Gather business requirements
  •  Recommend external best practice processes and solutions
  • Challenge business to avoid deviating from market benchmarks.
  • Conduct impact analysis for system changes.
  • Deliver user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Prepare functional and technical documentation.
  • Provide application support.
  • Liaise with business users, vendors, and implementation partners.

 

 

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of Oracle SCM consulting or application support experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of Oracle Fusion SCM experience.
  • Strong Oracle Fusion & EBS Supply Chain experience.
  • Experience in implementing and supporting enterprise-wide Supply Chain applications.
  • Strong SQL & PL/SQL programming skills.
  • Ability to analyze transaction data across Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion.
  • Experience troubleshooting integration issues.
  • Familiarity with Oracle APIs, REST APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is desirable.

Preferred Experience

  • Hybrid Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion environments.
  • Oracle Supply Chain implementations or support projects.
  • Manufacturing and FMCG industry experience.
  • Integration with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Experience with data migration and system integrations.
  • Exposure to warehouse automation solutions is an advantage.
