Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced GCC Demand Planning Analyst to lead forecasting activities for both customers and production. The role involves creating and maintaining forecast models for customers by integrating business intelligence and insights gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer data, and other relevant sources. The analyst will also prepare detailed demand plans by SKU, product, and geography.
Responsibilities:
Strategic:
- Act as a bridge between sales side and supply side by preparing demand plans
- Identify and anticipate market trends and suggest plans to keep up with the demand
Operational:
- Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
- Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions
- Interact with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers
- Utilise a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
- Prepare demand plans and shipment plans
- Closely coordinate with and communicate customer action plans to supply planning
- Analyze sales of stock products to create an effective ABC classification and establish root causes for slow moving inventory
- Review unusual demand flags for appropriate action
- Coordinate with Supply Planners to communicate variances in demand and ensure corrective actions are taken
- Ensure optimal products flow within the locations and saturation of bottlenecks
- Maintain proper balance of inventory throughout manufacturing and distribution network
- Follow-up the 2nd degree product sales at the outlet
Qualifications & Experience:
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from a reputed University; specialization in Operations Management would be preferred OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in similar industry

- Tools
- MS Excel - Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel formulas (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc..), PivotTables/Charts, and Power Query for data cleaning/merging; builds refreshable and automated reports.
- MS Power BI – can prepare data modelling and creates insightful dashboards with strong visual storytelling, slicers, and layouts.
- MS PowerPoint - Creates and updates team decks, maintains templates, turns raw data into clear charts and visuals, keeps slides on-brand and easy to read, and prepares it for sharing.
- ERP – have familiarity with Oracle or other ERP systems.

- Detail-oriented and organized who sets standard files, writes down changes, and communicates clearly with the team.
