Position Title: Assistant HR Manager - UAE
Responsible for providing daily support in the implementation of human resources policies and programs, offering HR operational support to relevant staff across all UAE facilities, including factories and office employees. This role assists in the development and implementation of people-related policies, procedures, and programs to ensure consistent, efficient, and compliant HR practices across the organization. Key responsibilities include supporting the development and optimization of organizational structures and ensuring their effectiveness in meeting business needs. The role ensures full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance requirements. Additionally, the position is responsible for ensuring that all HR information systems are properly developed, maintained, and continuously enhanced to provide real-time, reliable information and high-quality service to both management and employees.
DESCRIPTION
- Assist in planning and implementing policies and processes related to the full employee lifecycle in the organization.
- Provide support in employee compensation and benefit programs in coordination with relevant teams.
- Coordinate with the Business and Total Rewards to assist in job analysis, job descriptions, evaluations and grading.
- Responsible for timely implementation of the performance management process and provide guidance to employees as needed.
- Assist in developing and implementing full orientation program and conduct it for new employees.
- Assist in developing a full set of HR Manual to facilitate the workflow.
- Develop and support initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and promoting a positive workplace culture such as events, partnership with communications and CSR team, and following the defined engagement calendar for the year.
- Coordinate with Talent Development for the training & development agenda for all employees.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution in line with company policies.
- Provide details to payroll whenever applicable for the employees’ payment.
- Support the team in advising and partnering with business leaders on people-related matters.
- Collaborate closely with HR Operations to ensure smooth execution of HR services and processes.
- Participate in leadership meetings when required, contributing insights from people data and employee engagement feedback.
- Support the rollout and follow-up of employee engagement surveys, including data analysis, action planning, and communication.
- Collect and escalate employee feedback to relevant stakeholders, helping to shape an inclusive and transparent work environment.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in HR data by maintaining and updating employee records in HRIS (SuccessFactors).
- Assist with audits, system migrations, or enhancements in collaboration with HR Ops, COEs, and IT teams.
- Support in workforce planning, internal movements, and organizational changes.
- Participate in HR projects and organizational change efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Academic and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, PHR) are an added advantage.
- Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, employee relations, and organizational practices.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally within the UAE market.
- Solid knowledge of UAE Labour Law, regulatory requirements, and related HR compliance practices.
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors (Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Central, Performance Management, or LMS).
- Proven ability to support HR operations across multiple locations or business units.
- Experience in handling employee relations, HR administration, recruitment support, and HR reporting.
- Strong capability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and HRIS systems.
- Experience working in multicultural environments and supporting diverse employee groups.
- Ability to drive and visit different office locations across the operations in the UAE.
